Antiwrinkle Treatment

Once you’ve decided that Antiwrinkle Treatment is for you, you’ll need to arrange a consultation with a member of our staff. During your consultation, our consultant will ask you about your desired goals and aesthetic appearance, whether or not you require Antiwrinkle Treatment to help treat a medical condition and explain in detail the process of the procedure.

You will also be asked to perform several certain facial movements, such as smiling, frowning, and raising your eyebrows. This examination helps our consultant identify how your face naturally moves so that the Antiwrinkle injections can be placed correctly.

A medical assessment will then be taken to ensure that you are a suitable candidate for treatment. If there are no contraindications, our staff will register your profile using our HIPAA and GDPA-approved system. You’ll be required to sign a consent form and fill out any other supporting documents before we book you in for your appointment.

Antiwrinkle Treatment is largely viewed as safe, effective, and mostly void of potentially harmful side effects. When appropriately used, the incidence of any possible complication is very low. However, some people may react to treatment in various ways which may cause a certain amount of discomfort. The most common side effects following Antiwrinkle Treatment include:

Pain – the injections used can sting and cause pain to the individual. We can offer you a topical anaesthetic to use at the treatment site to help alleviate any pain associated with the injection. Still, we want to reassure you that our staff is trained to the highest standards to ensure minimal discomfort.

Bruising – blood vessels may be injured during the injection process, resulting in bruising that will resolve within a couple of days.

Headaches – headaches are a common short-term side effect of Antiwrinkle Treatment. When injected, Antiwrinkle Treatment will cause an initial muscle spasm before relaxing or “freezing” the muscles. These headaches are often mild and resolve 2-3 days after treatment.
There are some cases when treatment with Antiwrinkle Treatment may not be possible. These include:

Infected treatment site – if you have an ongoing infection in the area you wish to be treated, then it is unlikely that we will be able to treat you. We advise you to wait for the infection to resolve before commencing treatment.
Pregnancy – Antiwrinkle Treatment is not generally recommended for cosmetic purposes in pregnant individuals. More studies are required to ascertain the safety profile of Antiwrinkle Treatment during pregnancy.

Only available to those aged 18 or over – Antiwrinkle Treatment for cosmetic purposes is illegal in those under the age of 18. This is because your skin has not yet fully developed. If Antiwrinkle Treatment is required for a medical condition, then a consent form must be signed by a parent or guardian.
